About this Event
Course Overview
The course will start with basic introductions to the different hand-building techniques you can use and what can be made using these techniques. You will be encouraged to develop your own creative ideas, and to explore the techniques you most enjoy. Once everyone has settled into hand-building with clay, students will be introduced two at a time to throwing on the wheel. This course can offer you the support and guidance you need to progress your ceramics skills & knowledge.
Basic materials are supplied to get you started. You will be advised accordingly of any additional materials required depending on what you would personally like to achieve. At the end of the course you should feel confident in your making abilities to progress onto the intermediate level.
