What is TREASURE in all its contrasting and unexpected guises? Not always something of great monetary value – what does it mean to ‘treasure’ something? From precious people, places, objects and memories, personal and cultural notions of worth are wide and open to interpretation…..
Treasure brings together vibrant and thought provoking films from diverse filmmakers that delve into the cultural, social, and personal perceptions of what we treasure.

The programme will last approximately 1hr 40 mins in total, including a short interval for discussion and drinks.
Full up to date programme listings can be found on the Short Circuit website.
Short Circuit is a non-profit, volunteer-run community event and is part of the BFI Audience Network and FilmHub SE. Launched in November 2015, themed screenings invite, emerging, established and award winning filmmakers to share alternative approaches to documentary storytelling.
