Join nature educator Paul Martin for a free shorebird walk and talk at Irving Nature Park.Weβll start with a short presentation about the amazing migration of the Semipalmated Sandpiper and tips for identifying other shorebirds youβll likely encounter at the park. Then weβll head to Saints Rest Beach to see them in action and learn how they survive in this coastal habitat.
Meet at the gazebo above the information kiosk on Taylors Island. All ages welcome.
This event is part of the Shorebird Conservation and Education Project, a project of the Saint John Naturalists Club with funding from Birds Canada, NB Environmental Trust Fund and NB Wildlife Trust Fund.
