Welcome to the Lakeland Humane Society's Annual online auction event, Shoppa-Paw-Looza, which kicks off November 20, 2024! This event will run for five days and takes place on our Facebook page, where we auction off hundreds of fabulous gift items in support of the animals of the Lakeland area.2024 has been another big year for the Lakeland Humane Society - full of challenges but also exciting developments. In addition to our day-to-day operational costs, we are still actively working to raise funds towards the next phase of our project, which involves upgrading the living quarters of the dogs & cats. Improving these areas such as kennels and play spaces will enhance their quality of life during their stay at the LHS until their furever home is found.
Shoppa-Paw-Looza is our biggest and most anticipated event of the year, and we are really hoping to put a "dent" in our fundraising goals so we can make our new facility even more comfortable for the homeless animals of this community during their time spent here.
We have been so fortunate to have the support of this outstanding community in caring for these animals and making a difference in their lives. When you participate in our online auctions through donating, sharing the event on social media, or shopping the auction, you help us fill furry bellies, give a warm, safe place for them to lay their heads, provide life-saving surgeries, and eventually give the animals a second chance at finding the loving furever home that they deserve!
