About this Event
In collaboration with "Let's Talk Beauty" and "Girl's Talk", this season's "Citi-wide Shop Talk" will be hosted at a NEW location and open to all boroughs and all youth communities.“Shop Talk” is a mentorship group for all youths, ages 16- 21 years old. The “Shop Talk” Mission statement is “YOUR LEVEL OF EXPOSURE WILL DETERMINE, YOUR LEVEL OF SUCCESS”. The goal of the mentoring group is to allow for open discussions, but not limited to peer pressure, mental health, youth violence, culture /gender identity, career choices and education. Each session “Shop Talk” will host a guest speaker varying from careers in, Entrepreneurship, Real Estate, Web Development, Photography/ Videography, Fashion/ Graphic Designer and more. Mentees will have the opportunity to be educated on Crypto/Digital Currency, resume writing and preparation for job interviews.
