Cash Mob and Mimosas presented by Elgin Chamber of Commerce. Meet at 10 a.m. at Veterans Park, 109 Depot Street planning to spend at least $25 at downtown shops.
For those 21 and older who would enjoy a mimosa -- arrive early at 9 a.m. at the Elgin Chamber 114 Central Avenue. Those enjoying a mimosa must be participating in the cash mob. Over 100 locally owned businesses in downtown Elgin and several hundred in Elgin overall -- every time you choose to shop locally, secure a service locally, use a local bank, realtor, attorney, or financial advisor -- you are supporting a local business -- who employs local people and invests in Our Town!
