Led by Adlai SteinIn this two hour class we will give you an introduction to all of the tools in the shop. Most of our classes will already have the forge fired up and the appropriate tools/hammers pulled and available. In this session we will go more in depth about all the tools available in the shop and how to use them. Students will not make anything to take home during this class but will be cleared to use the shop during our Open Studio sessions.
If you’ve been thinking about setting up your own shop at home but don’t really know where to start this class is a great first step. If you don’t have the space for your own tools or the larger tools (power hammer) we have you covered too. Once you register and complete this session you will be able to use our space for your projects. We now offer open studio hours the first Tuesday of every month in addition to by appointment after you’ve taken this introductory class.
