Discover the magic of Sholapith, also known as Indian cork, a fascinating material with endless possibilities for crafting. Imagine a dried, milky-white sponge that can be moulded into various shapes and forms. In this beginner workshop join us with Gobindo Halder, a master artisan from the village of Gangasagar near Kolkata. With over a decade of experience, Gobindo will guide you to craft some delicate Sholapith flowers.
The workshop is part of a 3-day festival KALAANGAN showcasing and supporting Indian artisans.
