This event is being held to continue to highlight the ongoing slaughter of innocent people and specifically children across Gaza over the last 12 months. Over 16000 children to date have been killed by the Israeli Defence Forces. They are innocent victims responsible for none of the events that have taken place, however their lives have clearly been seen as not important, not valuable enough to protect. Their deaths seen as acceptable consequences by the IDF.
To acknowledge these children we are seeking to gather over 16000 pairs of children’s shoes from across the island of Ireland to present them outside Stormont Buildings Belfast on the 24th of November.
We have been witnessing and continue to witness the destruction of an entire community of people. Please help us call it out for what it is, please help us remember the thousands and thousands of innocent children murdered as a result for the actions of the IDF, including my dear friend Mohammed’s niece Lana AND please help us to:
Demand that it STOP NOW
Demand that those responsible to be held to account in a court of law.
Demand that a safe, secure and sustainable future be established for the Palestinian people.
Please don’t stay silent. Please speak out. If it was your children you would want others to.
We hope to arrange drop of points across the island and if you are willing to help please let us know.
