Come and join us for our spring time parade around Royal Albert Wharf! With beautiful shoals of fish depicting cultural heritage, individuality and community, made by several hundred Newham residents. Check out this video for an easy 'how to' make your own fish to join the parade!
The parade will follow a route around the dock and along the Thames, a spectacle that celebrates individuality at the same time as collective belonging.
Rokhsana Fiaz, Mayor of Newham, will be there to join in the fun too so please come along to Pump House Square from 1pm, the parade will begin promptly at 2pm.
Coinciding with Bow Arts Open Studios, it's guaranteed to be a fantastic afternoon for the whole family! The parade will finish around 3pm, after which we invite you to have an inspiring stroll around the artists studios.
PLEASE NOTE: Photographers will be present during the parade. Images from the event will be used solely on our website and social media.
