Friends of the Detroit River, in partnership with the Detroit Historical Society, Belle Isle Nature Center, and Belle Isle Conservancy, are hosting The 2026 Shiver on the River Eco Fair on Belle Isle on Saturday, February 7. Learn more about our natural resources from local organizations and enjoy free caricature drawings, a live magic show, s’mores, and more! There are indoor and outdoor activities taking place across Belle Isle between 10am and 4pm.
Admission to all activities is free of charge. Food concessions will be available for cash purchases at the Dossin. A Recreation Passport is required to enter Belle Isle. It's an annual pass that can be purchased when you renew your vehicle tabs or when entering a state park.
