The Shire of Capel is updating its 2009 Trails Master Plan to provide a modern and strategic approach to managing, developing, and promoting Council owned/managed trails. This updated Master Plan aims to enhance existing trails and identify opportunities for sustainable trail development to support activities like walking, running, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, and trail bike riding.
The focus is on creating
safe and accessible trails that encourage active lifestyles and outdoor recreation, support local businesses, create employment opportunities and drive economic growth within the Shire.
