Shine return to the Leeds HiFi Club on Saturday 2nd November for their 2024 finale after last weekend's August Bank Holiday debut at the venue, with what was an excellent night of ground breaking music styles for Shine, featuring a line up of DJ set's from the ultimate Kings Of Tomorrow genius Sandy Rivera, joined by the might of Inland Knights plus Leeds legend himself, Buckley known for his long term residencies at Back To Basics & The Hacienda.
★ SHINE RESIDENTS ★
Lending support to such a quality bill of DJ's were Shine residents, Leeds pioneers in their own right, from Tolerance, co founder at Kaos/Soak whose also been with Shine since it's 2011 launch, the man himself Mark Alexander aka Mark & Farrar warming up nicely alongside world class mid eighties scratcher, Graham Dixon known for late 80's Warehouse Raves, Ricky's & The Warehouse.
Plus one & only, a Speed Queen original newly joins Shine's residency outfit. Miss Melodie also based on the Leeds stage's of Soak/Fac51 Hacienda & UpYerRonson. Her formal, yet proud introduction, will be received whilst spinning her Shine debut on Saturday 2nd November down at the HiFi Club alongside fellow resident Graham Dixon.

As Shine are now readying for more mayhem, in the camp at HiFi Club seeing out 2024, ahead of their fixed 2025 dates at the Leeds Warehouse where some big line ups are guaranteed into the mix. They present to you for now this bad boy bill of DJ's, quenching ones thirst with some of them there, real maccoy house music producers, now get on this bill of quality names...

[] SHINE - WELCOME BACK, 10 YEARS ON []
To head the bill at HiFi Club this November, X-Press 2 (Rocky & Diesel) who first rose to underground prominence through tracks 'Muzik Express' and 'London Xpress' while gaining plaudits on the club scene for regularly parading their multi-decked 12 turntable sets. DJ performances have taken them far & wide from an 80's acid house groove in Ibiza onto the London stages of Shoom, Ministry of Sound & around the globe. Their unique sound creativity has lead to collaborations with Talking Heads' David Byrne's 'Lazy' hit, amongst other productions featuring Yello's Dieter Meier, Leeds indie legends The Music & The Streets' Rob Harvey.
To join the mighty force of X-Press2 will be a giant from Europe's underground house & Balearic scene Justin Robertson, outta Lionrock a band co-creation with MC Buzz B then his legendary status at The Hacienda/Cream etc & that ever so memorable remix of SLD's Getting Out track with his Deadstock label work amongst much more. Both act's returning exactly 10 years on since they performed at Leeds Warehouse for Shine's 3rd Birthday on 1st November 2014.
This celebration a decade on will be complimented by Hacienda resident, Shine regular Tom Wainwright who is nothing but a wizard when it comes to putting his live DJ set's together with none other than Shine's residents, Melodie's DJ Academy founder Miss Melodie alongside comrade & magician of decks, Graham Dixon.
