About this Event
SHINE U is an in-house program that highlights the letters "H" hobbies, "I" interests/irritants and "E" experiences from our SHINE framework. The objective is to foster discovery, exploration and experimentation for our participants in a low stakes kind of way. SHINE U workshops connect people with unique hobbies, interests/irritants & experiences to help promote learning, diversity, inclusivity and community.
Our facilitaor, Noreen Abramovitz
Noreen has been teaching ESL for the past six years, she has a masters in human resources and loves to help people feel more confident and comfortable with their English. She has taught it two different organizations and taught both on zoom and in person while living in Houston.
During the class, there will be casual conversations over various topics to help speakers become better conversationaists in a safe, stress-free environment.
There is an online registration and a one time payment of $10 . If it it your first time, you are required to fill out the registration form and pay the fee. If it is not your first time this session, (October 29th through December 10th) you will not have to fill out the form or pay the fee. The instructor will keep names of those who have previous registered on a roster.
