SHINE BRIGHT: a day retreat with cacao, yoga, breathwork & gong sound bath A half-day retreat, designed to awaken your body, heart, mind and spirit.
This day retreat was conceived by Craig , Leo and David whilst facilitating yoga, breath and sound sessions at the Lost Village festival last summer. The three friends, and experts in their respective disciplines, are joining forces to co-facilitate a uniquely integrated experience , designed to awaken your body, heart, mind and spirit .
- OPENING: we begin the afternoon with a cacao ceremony, a celebratory ritual for self renewal, featuring Full Power Cacao . Cacao increases the energetic field of our hearts, creating openness to receive.
- CLEARING: we then transition to a 45-minute Kundalini Yoga practice to shake off stagnation and awaken the energy of consciousness. The practice will enhance your awareness, helping you embrace the fiery summer season.
- DEEPENING: we continue to a 45-minute Dharma Yoga practice to build strength and flexibility, with an emphasis on twists and backbends to stimulate the heart meridian. Modifications will be offered for every level, with lots of hands-on assists and adjustments.
- AWAKENING: we take part in a 75-minute Breathwork practice to anchor yourself in to your body for access to your internal world. Breathwork itself creates the internal space to feel into any emotion or energy that is repressed, suppressed, ignored or simply unacknowledged. If you have any emotion or energy to release, this is the space for it!
- INTEGRATING: we conclude with a 75-minute Sound Journey , featuring gongs, singing bowls, drums, chimes and other instruments, for deep relaxation and transformation. Experience meditation in a more accessible and immersive way, as the harmonics our instruments effortlessly take your mind into a meditative state. By the end, you'll feel supremely relaxed, calm and happy.
We conclude the retreat with time for journaling and reflection , as well as a sharing circle with a light meal and refreshments , catered by local purveyors.
Come sit, move, breathe, listen, relax, dream and connect with fellow beautiful souls at Space at the Mill in Manchester. All are welcome!
We look forward to holding and sharing space with you.
