This World Neurofibromatosis Awareness Day, Halifax's City Hall and the iconic Peggy's Cove Light House will be lighting up blue & green as a nod to all our fighters here in the province and to help raise awareness for this neurological condition. NF is a set of 3 distinct genetic conditions that cause tumours to grow along the nerves throughout the body. NF can cause chronic pain, learning disabilities, hearing loss, loss of mobility and many other complications and affects hundreds of Nova Scotians! We take this day to shout from the rooftops - we'd love to see you wear your NF colours and pop out to take in the lights.
