Changing Lives Through Music
Shine A Light is an annual benefit concert that has been held in Wilmington since 2012. One of the hottest nights of the year, this fundraiser features 60-70 of the area's best musicians performing a night of fan-favorite songs from a featured theme. All ticket sales directly support grant funding initiatives from The Light Up the Queen Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting high-quality music education programs for Delaware's underserved youth. In 2024, The Light Up the Queen Foundation was able to grant $65,000 for music education programs at six local nonprofit organizations.
