We are so excited and blessed to share that Shimshai, a medicine music legend, will be offering a live performance in Baltimore, Maryland for the very first time! He and his wife Susana have recently released an album titled “Buscando Flores” which they are currently promoting, and we’ll get to hear them offering these prayerful songs live. This will be a special night of sacred and powerful heart-centered music with 3 unique sets. The evening will kick off with a set by our very own beloved local artist, Adam Kandel. Adam will be joined by his Soul family band and share a selection of original songs, devotional mantras and medicine chants. This local all-star band will then back up Shimshai for a set of his classic original mystic folk and reggae. We’ll get to listen, sing and dance along to many of our favorite Shimshai songs which have touched us deeply over the years, live in concert. Finally the evening will conclude with a set by Shimshai & Susana. They’ll invite us on an intimate and healing acoustic musical journey offering original and traditional ceremonial medicine music from north to south. Their voices weave together in simple and subtle purity bringing decades of world travel, ceremonies and traditional experiences to us through song. Becca Steinbach from Inner Nature Soul Sanctuary will also be offering ceremonial-grade cacao beverages for purchase.
This event has limited capacity and will likely sell out so please purchase your tickets ahead of time to insure yourself a spot. Children can come free of charge.
