Discover the empowering art of belly dance in this 4-week introductory series designed for all levels. Whether you're brand new to dance or looking to refresh your foundations, this class breaks down the essential movement vocabulary of belly dance in a supportive, fun, inclusive, and body-positive environment. Students will build strength, confidence, and coordination while learning combinations they can practice at home, or take to the dance floor.
Each 60-minute session includes a warm-up, posture and technique drills, short combinations, and a cool-down. We’ll focus on one area of the body each week: hips, chest, arms, head, shimmies, and traveling steps, all while reinforcing previous material for retention and flow. While drop-ins are welcome, students will get the most benefit by attending the full 4-week series.
NOTE! While this is a low impact exercise if you have any injuries or health concerns please consult with your physician prior.
