Grab your friends and get ready to shimmy and shake, laugh and have a blast! This event is perfect for anyone looking to have a great time and learn some new moves. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to let loose and embrace your inner dancer.💃
🎉The Party: Come move your hips to the beat, your feet to the rhythm, and have a blast learning Bellydance! In this 1hour specialty class we will learn traditional Bellydance isolations, undulations, fluid arms, drum solo pops and locks, sensual movements, veil dance, candle dance & balancing! Styles taught will include Turkish, Egyptian Raqs Sharqi, and Fusion. Afterwards we will have a dance party to some modern music. Grab a friend, one of our scarves and a hat and take some sassy photos in our photo area.

💫The Instructor: Dawn Morrison aka: Samira Dawn has been a professional Bellydancer and instructor for over 25 years. She has performed as a house dancer at 15 family restaurants in the San Francisco East Bay. Samira’s Belly Dance Studio “Shimmy Dreams Belly Dance”performed throughout the San Francisco East Bay between 2012-2016. “Arabian Dreams” her professional group won the “Belly Dancer of the Year Competition” in 2014 and 2016 for Troupe and Duet. Dawn fell in love with Bellydance because it helps women build self-confidence and is a great low impact workout. Dawn loves teaching fitness classes. In addition to teaching Belly Dance she enjoys teaching Pilates, Yoga, Zumba, Aqua Aerobics, Barre, HIIT, and Sculpt.

3:30-3:50 Enjoy snacks and social time & take photos with our hats, scarves, bangles & beads (Feel free to bring your own beverage.)Coin Belts will be available for purchase for $15-$20.

3:50-Group photos before we sweat.

3:50-5:00 A Belly Dance Class including Belly Dance, Sensual Veil Dance, Candle Dance, & Balancing. Then we will finish with a dance party to your favorite songs and more photo opportunities.

Wear: Comfortable clothing, shoes you can dance in. Feel free to bring a scarf to tie around your waist. Coin belts will be available for purchase.
