A full-day event for women 40+ ready to gain clarity, confidence, and practical tools for midlife and beyond.
Menopause and midlife can bring unexpected changes in your body, health, and even your sense of who you are. You don’t have to navigate this stage alone. This event is designed to give you clarity, practical tools, and support as you move through this second half of life.
Led by Dr Sian Hebron, specialist GP in women’s health and menopause, and Jo Clark, midlife mentor and podcaster, this event blends expert medical insight with practical life planning strategies. Together, we’ll help you reflect, reset, and step into your next chapter.

Session 1: Menopause; Management Options ; Sex and GSM
Host: Dr Sian Hebron
Info: Dr Sian will start the day by sharing the key facts and the latest information about menopause to help you understand what’s happening in your body during and after the transition. Next, she’ll provide guidance on management options, including hormone therapy. In the final topic of the morning, Dr Sian will talk about the important and often overlooked topic of sex and the Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause, giving you knowledge and insights that are rarely covered in regular GP visits.

Session 2: Creating Your Wellness & Your Next Chapter
Host: Jo Clark
Info: In this two-part session, Jo will guide you through a practical process to design a personalised wellness plan that supports your unique health needs and lifestyle during and beyond menopause. You’ll then move into a reflective and inspiring session focused on navigating the many transitions of midlife. Together, you’ll explore how to reconnect with who you are, clarify what matters most, and create a roadmap for your next season of life with confidence and intention.

Info: After the day finishes, you’re invited to stay for a relaxed time of conversation and connection over drinks. At our last Shifting Tides event, this extra hour was one of the highlights, with women sharing stories, reflections and plenty of laughter. It’s a lovely way to wind down and connect more personally with Jo, Dr Sian and the other women in the room.
