Shift Up is back for our annual event where we pair generous volunteers with local kids in need for a morning of shopping, laughter and holiday magic at Walmart! For anybody who does not know what we do here's how it works: each volunteer is paired with one kid that you get to take shopping for their loved ones. After you helped them find gifts for people on their list, they get to buy something for themselves. ( keep it a secret till the end though)
All of this is getting paid by Shift Up with the help of our donors that helped us out this year. Still taking donations if anyone feels generous! Any amount will help a kiddo! Feel free to reach out or we do have an account at Community America Bank under Shift Up, and we are a Non-profit so we can provide you with a tax receipt!
After shopping we will wrap the presents together with the help of @DreamTeam Car Club KC ! . Can't thank all their members for helping us with that every year!!! You guys rock!
This is one of the most heartwarming mornings of the year -kids light up when they realize that everything in their cart is theirs to gift!
Let's make this Christmas unforgettable for kids who need it the most!
