“No” Jars and Boundary Work. (Cost $50)
Pre-Registration for this event by the 15th of January is essential to ensure there are enough supplies for all attendees.
To start the year with a good dose of self-care we are going to be working on setting boundaries. For the first part of the class we will be creating “No” jars. You will need to provide stones or other items that you wish to include in your jar. Some suggestions are black tourmaline for protection; amazonite for personal boundaries particularly around communication; hematite for grounding, energetic and emotional boundaries; amethyst to aid in holding your path and self-respect; and rose quartz for self-love. We will provide the jars, herbs and black salt.
You will also want to think of the things that you have difficulty saying “no” to. You may want to write them down prior to the event or you may want to write them down during the class. The second half of the class we will be performing a setting boundaries ritual.
You will need to bring an amazonite stone and a shungite stone for the ritual. You may also want to bring a small heat proof container, however we will have one large one for the class as a whole. Prior to the class you will want to think about the boundaries that you wish to set. You will need to make a list of all the things that you are not willing to do anymore.
You will have time to write the list onto the parchment paper that we will be burning but you may want to bring a prepared list. List the ways that you have given yourself away to people; things you have done that you have felt obligated to do, but were not healthy for you; things you have done so that people will like you, things that were not authentic to you. All other supplies will be provided for you including a reusable, mess free salt circle.
Weather permitting we will be going outside to release our intentions at the end of the ritual.
