MORE INFO
This Textile Repair series is part of our Climate Futures program for people aged 16-25 years old. If that's you and your between that age bracket, come along and try out the Japanese art of Shibori for FREE where you can learn a traditional dyeing technique that involves manipulating fabric to create unique patterns and designs. It typically involves folding, twisting, binding or stitching the fabric before dyeing it, resulting in intricate and beautiful textures. Bring along any small scrap cotton material you have along with blocks of wood, marbles, pegs, clips or anything else you want to experiment with!
Please be on time to make the most of our session. If you are unable to attend after signing up please let Woodlands team know via as spaces are limited.
