This lab is designed to be inclusive to all shibari and rope enthusiasts. Whether you're a beginner with only a few ties in your routine, been tying a while, or just want to serve as a model for other riggers, you will find like-minded people looking to enjoy the nuance of Shibari!

Tuesdays are for Tying. While we host weekly Rope Labs on Tuesday evenings, we also have weekend Rope Labs to make it accessible to everyone. There are hard points available for riggers experienced with suspension. This is the perfect setting to practice technique and meet people. So grab your ropes and join us!

*** This event is best when you have a basic knowledge of shibari and is a communal practice/lab session, not guided instruction. If you are completely new to Shibari, please consider coming to our Shibari 101 class on Tuesdays at 5:30 before lab, then use the included lab credit to stay and practice!

CAN I BRING A FRIEND/TYING PARTNER?

Everyone attending will need a ticket for admission. Fortunately, you can buy our 2-Pack Rope Lab package for $25. Buy the package first, then complete the booking checkout twice for this class. On the second booking, select "Booking for Someone Else" and enter their info. Don't worry, it's fast and your credit will be automatically applied!

DO I NEED TO HAVE MY OWN ROPES?

If you have them, bring them, but we will have ropes available for a small rental fee. Additionally, if you don't have ropes and would like some of your own, we have rope available for purchase.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR THIS?

Make sure you eat something so your brain is well-fueled! Also, be sure to practice good hygiene beforehand so everyone is comfortable with the closeness shibari requires :)

WHAT DO I WEAR?

You want form-fitting clothes you can move freely in. Think yoga-attire! Just avoid anything too silky/slippery as it may make it harder to keep ropes where you place them.
