Shibari: Rope Jam

invites you to our monthly intimate rope jams fauciliated byThe LotusTuch.

Rope Jams at MarYSoul are workshops open to all levels of enthusiasts with a want to explore and learn about Shibari. The rope jams offer the opportunity to connect with similar-minded individuals, share tips and tricks, maybe even showcase a new design, or simply enjoy the beauty of rope bondage on yourself or others.

Recommended dress-code is layers in the winter. Many people wear athletic, swimwear, tights, or other types of comfortable clothing. Full nudity is not allowed, the chest can be exposed. You will be asked to remove shoes, due to the majority of seating on the floor. Although, there will be chairs available.

CONSENT IS KEY! All genders and identities are welcome. Tickets are required and a sex offender background check will be administered.

What to bring? Bring your ropes, shears, yoga mats, water, enthusiasm, and willingness to explore the art of Shibari in a safe and welcoming environment. There will be rope availble for purchase and mats for availale for rent.

More about the Studio: The studio located in the Front Street art district in Dayton OH. Every month we have unqiue art available for sale. Suspension is not offered to the audience (yet), but at times will be used for demostrations. The studio does have free parking and is located on the first floor. Tickets are required and will be available at the door with a surcharge.
