Workshop Description:
Welcome to Handling Handles – a unique Shibari class that blends the art of rope with authentic connection and intentional exploration. This experience goes beyond technique to cultivate a space where fun, consent, and curiosity thrive.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to create, adjust, and use rope handles on the body with care and intention. These handles offer opportunities for enhanced control, communication, and creativity in your rope practice—whether you’re tying, being tied, or switching roles.
Workshop 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM
What to Expect:
• A practical guide to placing and using rope handles for comfort, connection, and engagement
• Techniques suitable for all experience levels (newbies welcome!)
• Authentic Relating Games to deepen presence, consent, and trust
• Choose-your-own-adventure style learning – move at your own pace and comfort
• Emphasis on safety, communication, and embodied exploration
Jam 9:30 PM – 11:30 PM
Jam Session with Guided Support:
• Explore what you’ve learned in a fully supportive space
• One-on-one guidance available throughout the night
• A cozy, connective environment where curiosity and expression are honored
• Opportunities to connect with others or deepen with a partner
