Whether you're completely new to rope or have been curious about exploring the world of Japanese-inspired rope bondage, this beginner-friendly workshop offers a grounded, respectful, and hands-on introduction to Shibari—the art of tying the body with intention, connection, and care.
In this immersive 3-hour experience, you’ll learn essential rope skills, foundational ties, safety knowledge, and how to bring creativity, presence, and sensuality into your practice. This workshop is open to individuals, self-tyers, and couples of all identities and experience levels.

✔ Rope safety 101: anatomy, risk zones, and emergency protocols
✔ Essential knots, frictions, and hitches (including the single and double column ties)
✔ Rope types and how to choose, handle, and care for your rope
✔ Beginner-friendly floor ties and harnesses for the chest, hips, and legs
✔ One-rope flow practice (Ippon Nawa) to build fluidity and confidence
✔ How to create intimacy and dynamic tension with rope
