With a heavy heart, I am announcing the passing of my mother, Sherry Pruitt. My momma was a gifted singer who took her voice all over the world. Many of you knew her as Sista Sherry or The Texas Songbird. Her passion and ability to connect with people through her music was truly something special. Her voice was pure soul - it had the power to touch your spirit and warm your heart.A celebration of her life will be held at Lighthouse Memorials & Receptions at 1016 W. 164th St., Gardena, CA 90247
