Taking influence from solo artists like Amy Winehouse, Hayley Williams and Mitski, Parry has birthed her own commanding sound. A genre blend of jazz, folk, pop and neo-soul, the only thing retaining a constant is the catchiness of her song writing and power of her lyricism.
The Cinema, Alone
The Cinema, Alone is the indie prog solo project of Dja Dja Wurrung/ Bendigo based Micah Edmonds. Sonically aimed at the space between the calmest of acoustic work and the darkest of progressive rock genres with a sharp lyrical flair, the entirely self-produced act is as distinctive as it is heartfelt.
