About this Event
Join the Sherbourne Valley Project team for a day of identifying wildlife and verifying records! We will use the iNaturalist app to verify the wildlife species that people identified over the City Nature Challenge Weekend, which helps us in the competition to Coventry on the map for this international challenge. By verifying records, they get sent to the local records centre, in this case Warwickshire Biological Records Centre, which allows nature organisations all throughout the county make educated decisions for restoration and conservation projects.
You don't need to have any experience to take part, we will have identification guides on hand to support you. Downloading the iNaturalist app in advance is recommended to reduce your data usage. We'll also be encouraging a fun atmosphere with hot drinks, biscuits and snacks.
