The Friends of Glenpool Shelter and VFW Post 9126 are joining forces with Glenpool Shelter in matching shelter pets with Veterans. This event is for everyone. Adoption fees for Veterans are sponsored through our Pets2Vets campaign. When a veteran is matched with the right pet, both lives change for the better. The veteran saves the animal and welcomes him/her into a loving home. In return, the pet provides unconditional love and support; easing stress, depression, loneliness and anxiety. Together, they share a super bond that provides them both with a whole new "leash" on life.
