Shelter From The Storm is a Duluth Minnesota based band that celebrates the music of hometown legend Bob Dylan. The band’s roots go back to 1993 when a group of local musicians put together a show to honor Bob Dylan’s birthday. This became an annual tradition where the group performed under the names The Bobcats and the Bob Dylan Revue, and regularly included Duluth’s finest musicians. Different iterations of the group performed at the 2019 and 2021 Duluth Dylan Festivals. The current group consists of Jane Aas (Janie and the Spokes), Todd James (Bob Dylan Revue, The Jane Gang), Peter Aas (Janie and the Spokes), Mike Bernier (Big John Dickerson and Downright Tight, The Good, The Bad and The Funky), Garth Anderson (Landscapes, Janie and the Spokes, The Repairmen), Jordan Ash (Janie and the Spokes). SFTS will be performing at Sacred Heart Music Center for the 2025 Duluth Dylan Fest on Saturday, May 24, 2025.
