How many shells have you collected from the local beaches? This is your chance to create a fun keepsake collage. You can label them with all their names, add some rope or sea fans to create texture, make a spiral design...let your imagination soar. Bring a small bag of seashells - we will also have local shells available to supplement but collecting is half the fun. It is an 8x10 show box which is magnetic and it has a hook to hang on the wall.
So who is Connie? Currently I am the owner of The Artistic Flip Flop. I have a background in business and human resources with my Masters Degree from Cornell University. Prior to moving to FL, I spent 18 years running a successful photography company in Scottsdale, Arizona with two divisions, real estate/architecture and weddings, portraits, and pet photography. I am truly a creative at heart with a mind for business. My current artistic side is sparked by my love of the ocean that started as a child growing up on Cape Cod. I am fascinated by the sea and all of the gifts that it gives us and I’m so excited to be back living near the water again. I enjoy textures and colors and how colors complement touch each other… I like to touch and feel art. I also enjoy teaching people to tap into their creative side and just allow their own self expression to evolve.
Classes are non-refundable because we have limited space and the artists need to prepare. You can find another person to take your seat if you are unable to attend.
