Join SheJumps and Liaise Studio for the Wild Skills: The Adventure Artist workshop on January 10, 2026.

Start the new year with creativity and community. At the Wild Skills: The Adventure Artist, SheJumps and local artist and new studio owner Christine Carpenter invite middle school girls and non-binary youth for a morning of using art to practice observation, build resilience, and visualize future goals.
Art kits and snacks will be provided.
9:00AM-10:10 Welcome and Session 1: The Micro-Adventure Sketch
Focus: Building Observation Skills & Presence (A key skill for outdoor safety and engagement).
Art Focus: Pencil and Pen work (Line, Form, Texture).
10:20-11:10 Session 2: Mapping Inner Terrain
Focus: Self-Reflection, Emotional Intelligence, Identifying Strengths, Connection between Inner and Outer
11:10-12:00 Session 3: Visualizing the Next Jump
Focus: Goal Setting, Positive Visualization, and Celebration.

This activity is partially funded through the City and Borough of Juneau's Youth Activities Grant.

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance of the event date will receive a 100% refund on the ticket price. Optional donations made during registration will not be refunded.
- Cancellations made within 3-6 days in advance of the event date will receive a 50% refund. Optional donations made during registration will not be refunded.
- No refunds will be given for cancellations within 48 hours of the event, as this does not give us adequate time to fill the spot.
