About this Event
Join SheJumps as we celebrate Get the Girls Out! – a nationwide campaign uniting women and girls to embrace the great outdoors while fostering a sense of adventure and camaraderie. Spurred by International Women's Day, this program is a call to action for participants of all ages to connect with nature, break down barriers, and celebrate their achievements and strengths throughout the month of March. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or a newcomer, the Get the Girls Out! gatherings aim to foster a community where participants can thrive outdoors, inspire one another and younger generations, forge new connections, and rekindle friendships. Grab your friends, and get ready to make unforgettable memories!
All minors (under age 18) must be supervised by a parent or guardian for the full event.

Cost: $10 and includes a raffle ticket and 20% off your lift ticket! Participants are responsible for their own lift ticket & gear. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased during registration at the event.
Lift Tickets: Please be sure to purchase lift tickets through Alyeska Resort https://shop.alyeskaresort.com/l/passes-tickets/lift-tram-tickets/p/single-day-lift-tickets (20% off with registration). Lift tickets are not included in event registration.
Days activities: Group meet up, group skiing, mountain & base area activities, RAFFLE - win raffle prizes from Alyeska, Pit Viper, Powder Hound, Skhoop, and more!

All activities will start at the SheJumps tent in front of the Day Lodge at Alyeska Resort! If you would like to volunteer for this event, please reach out to Callie at [email protected].
What to wear: The ideal clothing allows for unrestricted movement and comfort while skiing. Dress in layers to allow you to quickly and easily regulate your temperature. Modern, breathable fabrics such as polyester, nylon or wool blends breathe well and don’t absorb sweat. Avoid cotton as it will keep you cold once it gets wet. Make sure to check the weather and wear or bring clothing that will protect you from the elements: a cold wind or wet snow can quickly chill an unprepared skier.
***Feel free to bring your inner Girafficorn and wear colorful, silly, and unique attire. Costumes are encouraged! Do you have some amazing leggings and a tutu? A stellar onesie? Vintage ski gear? A fun wig? Throw it on! When picking out your costume, remember to be mindful of cultural appropriation and choose a costume that respects all backgrounds and world cultures. Not into dressing up? TOTALLY COOL! Bring your happy self and let's hit the slopes!***
Who can attend? We welcome all women and girls (transgender and cisgender) as well as non-binary people to attend this event. All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult for the entire event.

FAQ's & Other Event Information
Parking and getting to the event: There is free parking at the Alyeska daylodge parking lot and parking by the hotel. For more information about public transport and traveling to Alyeska, check out the resorts "Getting Here" page here.
Facility & accessibility information: Gendered restrooms are available in the Daylodge. Alyeska is ADA accessible. Adaptive skiers and riders are welcome to attend and participate!
Rental information: Participants will need their own equipment to ski or snowboard. Rentals are available at Powder Hound (https://www.powderhoundak.com/) or at Alyeska Resort (https://shop.alyeskaresort.com/s/rentals).
We want to support all participants in enjoying this event to the fullest. Please let us know if you have any accommodation requests ahead of the event or during checkout and we will provide accommodations as we are able to.

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance of the event date will receive a 100% refund on the ticket price. Optional donations made during registration will not be refunded.
- Cancellations made within 3-6 days in advance of the event date will receive a 50% refund. Optional donations made during registration will not be refunded.
- No refunds will be given for cancellations within 48 hours of the event, as this does not give us adequate time to fill the spot.
