Sheffield Ways Exhibition: Launch Event
Friday 28th November
5:00pm-7:30pm
The Arts Tower
Lower Ground Floor/Lecture Theatre 4
The School of Architecture and Landscape are delighted to announce the launch of our latest exhibition, ‘Sheffield Ways: Themes in Design, Education and Research at the University of Sheffield (1908-2025)’.
The exhibition is part of a major effort to document and showcase the huge amount of pioneering work done across eight key themes in design, education and research at the University of Sheffield’s School of Architecture and Landscape. This work sits at the intersection of our disiplines and departmental histories. In bringing these together, we hope the exhibition becomes a starting point for critical conversations around the future direction(s) of our new combined School and a celebration of our legacy to date.
The Launch Event will take place on Friday 28th November in the Lower Ground Floor of the Arts Tower, between the exhibition space and Lecture Theatre 4.
A drinks reception will begin from 5pm, followed by an introductory talk, presentations from collaborators, and a panel talk. The session aims to wrap up by 7:30pm.
Please feel free to drop into any part of the event. There will be various opportunities throughout for discussion, feedback, and questions. A programme will be available at the event with further details.
