
About this Event
Sheffield Tree Fayre is a family-friendly event celebrating the wonder of trees and woodlands, which will take place on Saturday 10 September 2022 at Sheffield Botanical Gardens (Thompson Road entrance just off Ecclesall Road S11 8RB)
Running from 10am to 4pm, this free entry, one-day tree-fest will feature:
- a variety of kids’ outdoor forest school activities
- kids’ indoor crafts
- outdoor adult wood crafts
- various stalls from the Woodland Trust, SCC Tree and Community Forestry Teams and more...
- tree-themed talks, which feature speakers from the National Trust, Regather Cooperative, local author of ‘The Politics of Street Trees’ book, Camilla Allen, and Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust
- guided tree walks - provided by Fran Halsall (Sheffield Woodland Connections) and Nathan (SCC Tree Officer).
All activities are free. Wood-fired pizza and refreshments will be available to purchase.

The event is hosted by Sheffield City Council Community Forestry Team, in partnership with The Woodland Trust, National Heritage Lottery funded Education and Engagement Project at Sheffield Botanical Gardens and the Sheffield Street Tree Partnership.
