Sheerwater play Knaphill at Eastwood leisure centre with the Maz Bristow man of the match trophy being handed out for the 3rd time since our dear mum, nan, aunty, great nan and wife sadly passed away in June 2022. Maz was a big part of sheerwater football club back in the day offering her hand in teas and coffees, looking after the footballers here and there and genuinely being a great supporter! She was very much loved and is greatly missed by all who knew her! The first game we did a huge raffle and genuinely just had the best time in honour of her and to raise money for Woking and Sam Beare hospice who were without a doubt the best people to have taken care of our Marilyn!
Since then we have been doing cake sales on the match against Knaphill who are always a lovely team and continue to also support the sales and raising money for the hospice :)
This year we are doing another cake sale on the 5th of October at Sheerwater Football club. We are asking if anyone can donate cakes for this day please xxx thank you in advance! All funds to go to Woking and Sam Beare Hospice ** Sheerwater FC will be playing Knaphill FC and the Maz bristow shield will be presented to the man of the match at the end. ** kick off at 3pm ** HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL THERE!
