Gather in community to scrape, soften, & stretch a sheepskin hide. Yours to keep for the years to come. This knowledge was passed down to me, and this practice is one that I cherish. I am so looking forward to sharing it with you all!
10% of proceeds to Chumash Tribe.
Portion of proceeds to our host, City Farm, a non-profit, educational farm with a focus on organic & regenerative ag.
BIPOC donation based seat available.
$550 for the entire weekend - includes a catered lunch on Saturday 6/7 with City Farm Greek Sausage & veg.

Friday Arrival
Info: Arrive at the farm. Enjoy a brief farm tour to get everyone situated. Sit in an opening circle to introduce ourselves, review the weekend ahead, skills we’ll hone on this first day, and discuss everyone’s intentions & hopes for our weekend together.

Friday Skill Session
Info: Learn our first steps of the hide tanning process & practice them with our sheepskin hides.
