Sheep eID – what's in it for me?

AWI Extension TAS is running a workshop, Sheep eID – what's in it for me? next month, providing the latest information on electronic identification (eID); a requirement in Tasmania from 1 January 2025.

The workshop will cover: the role of eID for the Australian sheep and wool industry; how eID can help with collecting information to make more informed decisions to guide your breeding objective, improve wool quantity and quality, and lamb growth rates; biosecurity, market access, and more.

NRE Tasmania will also present current information on timeframes, key dates, grants, and rebates, and be available to answer grower questions.

The workshop is 9:30am – 1:30pm on Wednesday 9 October at Campbell Town Showgrounds, 17 Church Street, Campbell Town.

Morning tea and lunch will be provided. Tickets are $60 per person.
