You are invited to the second annual Shediac Kitesurf Event & Demo 2024. Event date: Best Windy Saturday By Fall, stay tuned for updates!
Event meet up: 100 Waterfront dr. Shediac River, NB
Riding location: TBD depending on wind direction. Boat Access!
(NOTE: GREEN LIGHT ANNOUNCED WEEK OF).
Come out for a one of a kind event with live music, DEMO 2024 gear, riding & meeting the kitesurfing community of NB, PEI & NS.
Everyone is invited to bring tents, RV, campervans, book airbnb and stay the weekend.
TIMELINE:
Friday Night:
Friendly ride at drive in location (we will post location).
Possibly live music and drinks starts at 7PM to kick off the event.
Saturday (Day of the event):
- Riders meet up 10:30AM (at 100 Waterfront dr., Shediac River, NB)
- Boat shuttles starts at 11:00AM. (Boat ride is +-15 min away).
- Kitesurf Event: Music, BBQ, demo 2024 gear and photoshoot session. Bring your own personal gear, warm clothing, sunscreen, water, etc. *Note: No bathroom on the Island*
- Afterparty: Departure back to shore will be around 5-6PM depending on weather, etc. Back to shore, food TBD, Live music, drinks, hot tub & prizes. Everyone is encourage to stay for the night & DO NOT drink and drive home. Bring your own beverages is encouraged.
Sunday:
- Kite at a local beach depending on weather (no official plans)
Costs - Donations accepted to cover music, food per person will include cost of food, boat ride, live music, etc.
