Or are you an herbalist looking for a platform to share something really cool?
We want you! Come join your local Herbal Guild for our first ever SHED Talk event!
In the style of TED Talks, we'll gather to exchange our ideas with the community. Talks are typically 18 minutes or less. We have powerpoint functionality if you want to include a visual. You may also join by Zoom to present / attend.
This event is free to the public! Join us to share what you're passionate about, and discover new tips in the field of herbalism.
If you're interested in presenting, but don't know what to share, here are some jumping off points:
* an herb that you love and why
* medicinal plants in your back yard
* fun culinary uses for an herb
* tips for the business side of herbalism
* a recent research study you found interesting
* how to grow / harvest
* plants from your culture or your travels
* a client case study - what worked for them?
* arts and crafts with herbs
* creative media like a song or poem inspired by plants.

AFTER THE EVENT:
SHED Talks will be followed by a brief meeting of the West Coast FL Chapter of the American Herbalists Guild. Our meetings are always open to the public so you can get involved in the local herbal community. We will be discussing our plans for the rest of the year and upcoming symposium in North Carolina this October.

This meeting will be located at: Traditions School of Herbal Studies, 6340 Central Ave, St. Petersburg. There is designated parking in front of the school, and street parking on 1st Ave N and 1st Ave S.
