Shea Pierre Shea Pierre is a New Orleansborn pianist, composer, producer, and educator whose sound reflects the deep musical traditions of his hometown while pushing them forward. He began playing music at age four in church and with his familys gospel group, later honing his craft at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA) under mentors including Ellis Marsalis and Jason Marsalis. Pierre went on to study Jazz Studies at the Oberlin Conservatory, developing a style that blends jazz, gospel, blues, hip-hop, and global influences into a voice that is both rooted and contemporary.A respected figure on the New Orleans music scene, Pierre leads his own ensembles and performs regularly at major cultural venues and festivals. He has worked with and alongside notable artists such as Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah, Donald Harrison, Weedie Brimah & the Hands of Time, and Fatoumata Diawara, among others. Kind Reminder: Snug Harbor does NOT serve the full menu inside the Music Room. We do offer cheese and charcuterie tray options. In order to preserve the integrity, quiet and focus of our world class intimate concerts, only the charcuterie, cocktails and soft drinks are available for table service inside the Music Room. However, we encourage you to arrive at least 90 Minutes prior to your showtime in order to enjoy full, relaxing dinner service in the Dining Room right next door, before getting seated in the Music Room for your ticketed showtime.

This event is 13 and over. Any ticket holder unable to present valid identification indicating that they are at least 13 years of age will not be admitted to this event, and will not be eligible for a refund. All concert ticket sales are final and non-refundable. All patrons must have valid government-issued Photo ID available upon entry.
