Crowned with the ICON Award at the 21st Annual African American Literary Awards in October 2025, Dr. Elissa Gabrielle stands as a living legend—a trailblazer who has transformed literature into a ministry of healing, empowerment, and cultural sovereignty. This honor marked the celebration of 20 groundbreaking years at the helm of Peace in the Storm Publishing, one of the first Black-owned publishing houses to gain national acclaim for literary excellence.
With over 200 published titles and 30+ literary careers launched, she is a master cultivator of greatness—turning raw potential into bestselling brilliance. Her dual role as a certified Master Life Coach and Doctor of Naturopathy positions her uniquely at the intersection of story, spirit, and strategy—helping others heal, grow, and rise.
Dr. Gabrielle is also a fierce advocate for Black men, using her platform to uplift, amplify, and protect their stories.
