Come join us at Serve Lewisville for a special event catered to New and Seasoned writers looking to grow in their craft. Whether you're just starting out or have been writing for years, this series is designed to inspire and equip you on your writing journey. Connect with fellow writers, learn from experienced authors, and dive deeper into your faith through the power of words. Don't miss out on this opportunity to be part of a community that celebrates and encourages Christian-based writing!

Sessions:

June 13: Poetry and Prose- Explore poetry from the Bible and engage in challenges to write your own.
June 20: Devotional Writing + Overview of Self-Publishing- Learn techniques and ways to write devotionals.
July 18: Testimony- Crafting and sharing your testimony in a beautiful way
July 25: Cookbook + Overview of Self-Publishing- Explore writing a memoir and devotional through food!

Bring an open mind and open heart! Feel free to bring a laptop or tablet.

Light refreshments will be served.

We are a non-profit ministry serving the community and providing low-cost creative opportunities. With that being said, there are no refunds but you can use it as a credit for other workshops.

About the Facilitator

Cicely is a Kingdom Ambassador sharing her gifts, talents, and passions with the world through the Creative Wellness Project, a Creative Arts Ministry. She is an artist, educator, and author.

She teaches creative workshops for all ages. She has her B.S. degree in Business Administration, an M.Ed in Leadership, and received creative arts ministry training and therapeutic arts facilitation.

She is the author of Living With God in the Season of Ambiguity, She Sits At His Feet Challenge, Self: 40+ Activities Guided Journal, The Art of Self-Care: Guided Journal and Activity Book, Pendrops and Doodles Attitude of Gratitude, Oh To Breathe Again: Prose, Poetry, and Pictures, and many more. She is a Book Doula helping people throughout their book-writing journey.

She is under the leadership of Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Minneapolis but resides in Lewisville, TX.
