Last year, Ps Sharon Chelliah preached the most profound word for ACCWA women, where she encouraged women to return to the wall to watch for the enemy over our families, children and nation. She taught that when women occupy their spaces, Jezebel has no room to rise. Further to this on the Day of Atonement, October 12 this year, one of my good friends Laura Allred along with Lou Engle led a day of prayer and fasting for ‘A Million Women’ on the Washington DC mall, USA. During this day of prayer, they cried out to God, repented on behalf of their nation and called upon God to heal their land and send revival. As I watched on YouTube, I was incredibly moved by the Holy Spirit to create a space where both Ps Sharon’s word and the intercession that came up from America could be outworked in Australia.
Out of a place of prayer and longing to see Australia encounter a move of God, ACCWA Women are launching, ’She Stands’. ’She Stands’ is a powerful night of prayer and fasting for all ACCWA women and beyond to come and cry out to God collectively for our nation. It’s a time to get back on the walls and watch. It’s time for WA, and it’s time for Australia to reclaim the promises of God. I am believing we can gather 800 women to contend for a move of God in our city. Will you stand with me?
