She Makes Noise x FYLKINGEN x MDTFylkingen har bjudit in den spanska elektroniska musikfestivalen She Makes Noise som brukar husera på La Casa Encendida i Madrid, för en kväll med live-sets på MDT. För att fira festivalens tionde upplaga kommer denna unika kväll i Stockholm att visa upp två av de mest relevanta artisterna inom den spanska elektroniska scenen: NOISEA, det nya projektet av OKKRE (aka Uge Pañeda) och CÒCLEA MIX av Agnès Pe.
"NOISEA" av OKKRE är ett verk inspirerat av den terapeutiska effekten som ljudfrekvenser som genereras av urbana stränder har på invånarna i dessa städer. Detta stycke är artikulerat genom fältinspelningar av flera lager av brus och ljudmodulationer, som fördjupar publiken i dessa hav och den stress som omger dem.
"CÒCLEA MIX" av Agnès Pe är en AV-föreställning som förvandlar rummet till en utvidgad snäcka som, förutom att omvandla en ljudstimulus till en akustisk stimulus, föreslår en reflektion över icke-mänsklig lyssning.
She Makes Noise startades för att synliggöra experimentell elektronisk musik och samtida audiovisuell konst skapad av kvinnor. De senaste upplagorna av festivalen har erbjudit en transversal vision som omfattar icke-binära identiteter, vilket speglar transformationen av könsperspektivet de senaste åren. Festivalen (musik & aktiviteter) programmeras av curatorn och forskaren Natalia Piñuel. Festivalen har pågått sedan 2015 på La Casa Encendida i Madrid.

She Makes Noise x FYLKINGEN x MDT
Fylkingen invites the Spanish electronic music festival She Makes Noise with base in La Casa Encendida in Madrid for a night of live sets at MDT. Celebrating the 10th edition of the festival, this unique night in Stockholm will showcast two of the most relevant artists in the Spanish electronic scene: NOISEA, the new project by OKKRE (aka Uge Pañeda) and CÒCLEA MIX by Agnès Pe.
"NOISEA" by OKKRE is a work inspired by the therapeutic effect that noise frequencies generated by urban beaches have on the inhabitants of those cities. A piece articulated through field recordings and multiple layers of noise and sound modulations, that will immerse the public in those seas and the stress that surrounds them.
CÒCLEA MIX by Agnès Pe is an AV performance that transfigures space into an expanded cochlea which, in addition to transforming a sound stimulus into an acoustic stimulus, proposes a reflection on non-human listening.
She Makes Noise was created to make visible experimental electronic music and contemporary audiovisual art made by women. The latest editions of the festival have offered a transversal vision that encompasses non-binary identities, reflecting the transformation of the gender perspective in recent years. The festival (music & activities) is programmed by the curator and cultural researcher Natalia Piñuel. The festival is happening since 2015 at La Casa Encendida in Madrid.
