In colaboration with the Alliance Française we will be showcasing one of ShazaCin's first described projects to a live audience, the South African classic - e'Lollipop (1975) This extraordinary 1975 film Set against the tumultuous backdrop of South Africa’s horrifying Apartheid era continues to draw a following and is described as a “defining moment” in South Africa’s film and racial history. filmmaker Ashley Lazarus’s heart-warming tale centres on the enduring friendship between two boys, Tsepo and Jannie featuring Muntu Ndebele and Norman Knox.
