With less that 6 weeks away, it's time to sign up for the SHAWANGUNK VALLEY 5-MILER happening on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2025. Go to RunSignUp.com for information about the races and to register to run. New this year is a 1-MILE KIDS' FUN RUN for children 12 years old and under. The finisher medal for the kids' run will be a fire engine equipped with a siren on the back.
The course will be the same rolling course with a downhill to the finish. The adult commemorative shirt will be a black, half-zip shirt (register by September 22 to be assured of receiving a shirt) All proceeds will benefit the fire and ambulance company. Also new this year, we are also planning silent auction for items donated by some of our sponsors. Each runner registered for the 5-miler will receive a free ticket and can purchase additional tickets.
